Travel to Paris for a Quick Bite

London is one of the most sought after cities in the World. Not far from it is another must visit city, Paris. If you have enough time, a Paris trip is very doable from London. If you would like to take a day trip to the Eiffel Tower to grab a bite to eat, then check out these quick ways to get the Paris.

City, Luton, Stanstead, Gatwick, and Heathrow It is quick and easy to fly to Paris to London. Major airlines like British Airways and Air France offer numerous flights to Paris daily. The travel only takes one hour, however the price can fluctuate depending on what time of year you travel. It certainly is the quickest way to make it to Paris.

Clocking in at just a little over two hours of travel time, the Eurostar is certainly an experience. The train uses the “Chunnel” and travels under the English Channel to connect London to France. You can book your journey in advance online or at London’s St. Pancras International. Depending on what time of day you leave, you can get a ticket for just less than 80 pounds, one way.

These coaches use the same Chunnel to go between London and Paris. They depart up to 17 times a day, but it does take quite a bit longer than the other options. However, it can be the cheapest option if you are traveling on a dime.

If you are fortunate enough to have a car while in London, than the ferry is another option for you. It can be more of a hassle though and it does take the longest. It is ideal if you plan on taking some stops along the coast to see cities such as Southampton and Calais. Also, beware of seasickness.

Again, if you own a car or are renting one, you can always drive to Paris. Take the A1 north if you are coming from London. This is definitely not the best or easiest route to Paris. It can take up to 9 hours depending on traffic. Also, with the high prices of petrol, it could end up costing more than a quick flight or train ride through the Chunnel. Unless you are set on the scenic route, this is recommended as a last resort.

Once you are in Paris, head over the Eiffel tower to the “58 Tour Eiffel” restaurant which is located on the first floor of the Eiffel Tower. Here you will be able to see panoramic view so the Paris skyline while enjoying a delicious meal at the Parisian brasserie.
