When it comes to visiting London with your family, finding the attractions which’ll satisfy all ages can often be difficult. When you have an entire family to cater for, your options are strangely both limited and broad. Legoland

This charming theme park is based in Windsor and is a guaranteed family pleasing day out. With plenty of Lego gifts to please the kids and a vast array of rides to get that adrenaline rushing as well as cuteness oozing, you can be sure that Lego Land will bring out the child in all of us. Watch out for the dazzling Lego recreations of landscapes such as Paris, New York and London.

Shrek’s Adventure

Based on Westminster Bridge Road in the heart of the city, Shrek’s Adventure consists of a 4D movie and an interactive tour of many set pieces from the film series. Be prepared to meet characters old and new on this fun story based tour as you are led by Donkey through a diverse range of environments.

Shopping

Where would a trip to London be without a spot of shopping? The best places to accommodate to all ages on a shopping trip is by visiting Oxford Circus, Covent Garden or one of the two Westfield Shopping centres. Here you can find a great range of high street fashion brands and designer wear as well as an array of souvenir opportunities from your stay in the city.

Outdoor Activities

If there’s one thing that kids love, it’s a good sunny day and a fun green park. Luckily London has swathes of green spaces for you to bring the family. Whether you’re looking for a calm garden café or a tree to climb, there’s always somewhere in the city. The best places to start would be Hyde Park, with its Diana Memorial Playground close by to a great café for the parents, whilst the Olympic Park promises water based fun, adventure playgrounds and is in close vicinity to the leisure centre opportunities of the Olympic Park. On top of this, check out the wide range of outdoor Lidos for those extra hot days.

Museum Row

One of the prime hotspots for all-inclusive family fun is Museum row in South Kensington. Here you can find the Victoria and Albert Museum, Science Museum and Natural History Museum and their collective ranges of Dinosaur animatronics, interactive science and absorbing history to draw in and dazzle all ages.
